Enhance Email Management
How to create email accounts, configure clients, set up forwarding, and manage mailboxes using the Enhance control panel.
Enhance includes built-in email server management on GoZen VPS and cloud plans. You can create addresses, configure forwarding, set mailbox limits, and connect external email clients directly from the panel.
Creating an Email Account
- Log in to your Enhance control panel
- Go to Websites and select your domain
- Click Emails (or the email/mail section)
- Click Create Email Account
- Enter:
- Username (the part before @)
- Password (use a strong one)
- Mailbox quota (optional, sets a storage limit)
- Click Create
Your email address username@yourdomain.com is now active.
Accessing Email
Webmail
Most Enhance setups include webmail access. Open your browser and go to:
https://webmail.yourdomain.com
Or access it through the Enhance panel under the email section. Log in with the full email address and password.
Desktop & Mobile Clients
Configure your email client with these settings:
Incoming Mail (IMAP – recommended):
Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Port: 993
Security: SSL/TLS
Username: your full email address
Incoming Mail (POP3):
Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Port: 995
Security: SSL/TLS
Username: your full email address
Outgoing Mail (SMTP):
Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (STARTTLS)
Security: SSL/TLS or STARTTLS
Username: your full email address
Authentication: Required
Use IMAP over POP3. IMAP syncs across all your devices. POP3 downloads emails to one device and removes them from the server (by default).
For step-by-step guides for specific clients, see:
Email Forwarding
To forward emails to another address:
- Go to the email account settings
- Find Forwarding or Email Forwarding
- Enter the destination email address
- Choose whether to keep a copy on the server or just forward
Catch-All Address
A catch-all address receives email sent to any address at your domain that doesn’t have its own mailbox. For example, if someone emails random@yourdomain.com and that address doesn’t exist, the catch-all receives it.
Set this up in the domain’s email settings if available. Use with caution: catch-all addresses attract a lot of spam.
Aliases
Email aliases let one mailbox receive email addressed to multiple names:
info@yourdomain.com-> forwards tojohn@yourdomain.comsales@yourdomain.com-> forwards tojohn@yourdomain.com
John’s inbox receives everything, but he can reply from the alias address if his email client supports it.
Email Authentication
For reliable email delivery, make sure you have SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records configured. Enhance may set some of these up automatically, but verify them:
- See Email Authentication: SPF, DKIM & DMARC for the complete setup guide
Managing Storage
Keep an eye on mailbox sizes, especially if you have quotas set:
- Large attachments fill mailboxes fast
- Use IMAP’s “Archive” feature to move old emails out of the inbox without deleting them
- Periodically clean up the Sent and Trash folders
- Download important attachments locally and delete the emails
