How to Subscribe to Status Alerts¶
Never miss an outage or maintenance window. Subscribe to receive email notifications when service status changes.
Why Subscribe?¶
Email alerts ensure you're immediately notified when:
- A service experiences degraded performance
- An outage is detected
- Scheduled maintenance is approaching
- An incident is resolved
Who Should Subscribe?
This is especially valuable if you manage websites, applications, or client services hosted with GoZen Host.
How to Subscribe¶
Step 1: Visit the Status Page¶
Go to status.gozenhost.com
Step 2: Click "Subscribe to Updates"¶
Look for the blue "Subscribe to Updates" button in the hero section at the top of the page.
Step 3: Enter Your Email¶
In the modal that appears:
- Enter your email address
- Click Subscribe
- You'll see a confirmation message
Step 4: Check Your Inbox¶
Double Opt-in
If double opt-in is enabled, you'll receive a confirmation email. Click the link to verify your subscription.
What Emails Will You Receive?¶
Outage Alerts¶
Sent immediately when a critical service goes down.
Contents:
- Affected service name
- Time detected
- Impact description
- Link to live status
Degraded Performance Warnings¶
Sent when a service is still available but experiencing issues.
Contents:
- Service experiencing issues
- Expected impact
- What to expect
Scheduled Maintenance¶
Sent in advance of planned maintenance windows.
Contents:
- Maintenance title and description
- Start and end times
- Expected duration
- Affected services
Resolution Confirmations¶
Sent when an incident is resolved.
Contents:
- Service restored
- Incident duration
- Root cause (if available)
- Resolution summary
Managing Your Subscription¶
Unsubscribe¶
Every email includes an Unsubscribe link in the footer. Click it to stop receiving notifications.
Re-subscribe¶
Simply visit the status page and subscribe again with the same email address.
Troubleshooting¶
Not receiving emails?
- Check spam/junk folder – Add
status@gozenhost.comto your contacts - Verify subscription – If you didn't confirm, check for the confirmation email
- Try again – Re-enter your email on the status page
Email says 'already subscribed'?
This means your email is already on the list. You'll continue to receive alerts normally.
