¶ 🧭 Why DNS Settings Matter
Your domain’s DNS (Domain Name System) settings control where your website, email, and other services are pointed. Whether you’re hosting with GOZEN HOST or elsewhere, it’s important to know how to configure your DNS correctly.
¶ 🔧 Where to Manage Your DNS
Your DNS settings can be managed in two main ways, depending on where your domain is registered and whether you're using GOZEN HOST nameservers:

Domain registered with GOZEN HOST & using our nameservers
→ You can manage DNS directly from our Client Area. -
Domain registered elsewhere or using third-party DNS
→ You must configure DNS at your domain registrar or DNS provider.
¶ 📍 Step-by-Step: Managing DNS in GOZEN HOST Client Area
If your domain is registered through GOZEN HOST and uses our nameservers (e.g., ns1.gozenhost.com, ns2.gozenhost.com, ns3.gozenhost.com, zen.gozenhost.com), follow these steps:
¶ 1️⃣ Log In
Go to GOZEN HOST Client Area and log in.
¶ 2️⃣ Navigate to Domains
From the top menu, go to Domains > My Domains and click Manage next to the domain you want to edit.
¶ 3️⃣ Access DNS Management
If your domain is using our default nameservers:
- Click on DNS Management in the sidebar.
- Add, edit, or remove DNS records such as:
- A Record – Points domain to an IP address (e.g.,
192.0.2.1) - CNAME – Points one domain to another (e.g.,
www → yourdomain.com) - MX Record – Directs email to your mail server
- TXT Record – Used for SPF, DKIM, or domain verification
- A Record – Points domain to an IP address (e.g.,
⏳ Changes may take up to 24 hours to propagate globally.
¶ 🌍 Using External DNS?
If you’re using nameservers from Cloudflare, your domain registrar, or another DNS provider, you must:
- Log in to their DNS panel
- Add the required records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc.)
- Ensure nameservers are correctly pointed to that provider

- ❌ Forgetting to update the A record after changing your hosting IP
- ❌ Using incorrect nameservers
