How Billing Works
Payment methods, billing cycles, auto-renew, cancellation, and our refund policy - all in one place.
Everything about paying for and managing your GoZen Host services.

Payment Methods
We accept:
- Credit/debit cards - Visa, Mastercard, American Express
- PayPal
- Bank transfer - for annual plans and dedicated servers
All transactions are processed in USD and EUR. Prices on the website can be displayed in your local currency, but invoices are issued in the currency you selected at checkout.
Billing Cycles
When you order a service, you choose a billing cycle:
| Cycle | Discount | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | - | Testing, short-term projects |
| Quarterly | ~5% off | Side projects you plan to keep |
| Semi-Annual | ~10% off | Active websites |
| Annual | ~15% off | Production sites, best value |
Longer cycles mean a lower monthly cost. You can change your billing cycle from Services → My Services → select your plan → Change Billing Cycle.
The change takes effect at your next renewal date.
Invoices and Due Dates
Invoices are generated 14 days before the due date and sent to your registered email address. You can view all invoices in the client area under Billing → My Invoices.
Each invoice shows:
- Service description and period covered
- Amount due and currency
- Due date
- Payment method on file
Auto-Renewal
Auto-renewal is enabled by default. If you have a payment method saved (card or PayPal), we’ll charge it automatically on the due date.
To check or change your auto-renewal settings:
- Go to Services → My Services
- Select your service
- Look for Auto Renew in the sidebar - toggle it on or off
If auto-renewal is off and you don’t pay manually, the service will be suspended after the due date.
Late Payments and Suspension
Here’s what happens if an invoice goes unpaid:
| Timeline | What Happens |
|---|---|
| Due date | Payment attempted (if auto-renew is on) |
| +3 days | Reminder email sent |
| +7 days | Service suspended - your data is preserved but the service is offline |
| +14 days | Service terminated - data may be deleted permanently |
If your service gets suspended, pay the outstanding invoice and it’s reactivated automatically within minutes.
Cancellation
To cancel a service:
- Go to Services → My Services
- Select the service
- Click Request Cancellation
- Choose Immediate (cancel now) or End of Billing Period (cancel at next renewal)
Immediate cancellation stops the service right away. End-of-period cancellation lets you keep using the service until your current paid period expires.
Refund Policy
- Shared hosting - 30-day money-back guarantee on new orders
- VPS hosting - 7-day money-back guarantee on new orders
- Dedicated servers - no refund (hardware is provisioned specifically for you)
- Domains - non-refundable once registered (this is an industry-wide policy set by registrars)
- Add-ons (SSL, backups, etc.) - refunded proportionally if cancelled with the main service
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing takes 5–10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.
Upgrades and Downgrades
You can upgrade or downgrade most services from the client area:
- Go to Services → My Services
- Select your service
- Click Upgrade/Downgrade
Upgrades are prorated - you only pay the difference for the remaining billing period. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
