How to Manage Domains and DNS Records in Enhance

Domains and DNS at GOZEN HOST

Enhance lets you manage domains attached to a website and, when enabled in your package, edit DNS records from the Domains tools.

Warning

DNS editing is only available if your DNS is hosted in the right place and your package allows the DNS zone editor. If your DNS lives at your registrar or Cloudflare, you must edit DNS there.

Add a domain, alias, or subdomain to a website

  1. Open Websites from the left sidebar.
  2. Select your website.
  3. Click Domains in the top navigation.
  4. Click Add domain.
  5. Select the domain type (primary/alias/addon/subdomain, depending on your plan).
  6. Complete the form and click Add.

Edit DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT)

If your plan includes DNS tools, you’ll see a DNS editor for each domain.

Typical flow: 1. Open Websites → select your website. 2. Click Domains. 3. Select the domain you want to manage. 4. Open the DNS / DNS zone editor (if available). 5. Add or edit records: - A record for pointing a name to an IP - CNAME for aliasing a name - MX for email routing - TXT for SPF/DMARC/verification

Common website records

  • @ (root) A → your server IP
  • www CNAME → @ or yourdomain.com

Email records are high impact

Changing MX and TXT records (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) can break email delivery. If you're switching to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, apply the exact record set from the provider.

DNS propagation expectations

Changes are not always instant: - Usually: a few minutes to a couple of hours - Sometimes: up to 24 hours (depending on TTL and caching)

Troubleshooting

I don't see DNS tools

  • Your DNS might be hosted externally (registrar/Cloudflare).
  • Your package may not include the DNS zone editor.
  • Open a ticket and we’ll tell you where your DNS is authoritative.

My domain points to the server but website still shows old content

  • Clear browser cache and any CDN cache.
  • Reduce TTL before planned changes (future migrations).

My email stopped after a DNS change

  • Restore correct MX records.
  • Re-apply SPF/DKIM/DMARC from your email provider.

Summary

Use Websites → Domains to manage domains in Enhance. DNS tools appear only when enabled and when DNS is hosted in the right place. For safety, treat MX and authentication TXT records as high impact changes.
