Install WordPress on Enhance (built-in installer)¶

Enhance includes a native WordPress installer and a WordPress management toolkit, so you can launch a site fast and keep it maintained without jumping between tools.
Your domain can be registered anywhere. You only need it pointing to GOZEN HOST so the website resolves correctly.
Before you start¶
You need¶
- Access to the Enhance panel (from your GOZEN HOST Welcome Email or Client Area).
- A domain or subdomain you want to use.
Recommended¶
- Make sure your domain is already pointing to GOZEN HOST.
- Start here: Point your domain to GOZEN HOST
Domain registered elsewhere?
No problem. You don’t need to transfer the domain to install WordPress. DNS pointing is enough.
Install WordPress¶
Enhance supports installing WordPress in two common scenarios: a brand new website, or an existing website you already created in the panel.
- Log in to your Enhance panel.
- Go to Websites.
- Click Add website.
- Select Install an app.
- Choose WordPress.
- Complete the installer form:
- Domain / target site
- Admin username (avoid
admin) - Strong password - Admin email you control - Install path (root domain vs subdirectory, if offered) - Click Add / Install to finish.
- Open your admin panel at:
https://your-domain.com/wp-admin
- Log in to your Enhance panel.
- Go to Websites.
- Click the website you want to use.
- Open Apps (top navigation).
- Click Install app.
- Choose WordPress, complete the form, then click Add / Install.
If you don’t see “Install an app”
The installer can be disabled at package level (it requires software installer access).
If the option is missing, open a ticket and ask GOZEN HOST to enable the installer for your plan.
SSL and HTTPS (do this early)¶
WordPress should run on HTTPS from day one.
- Confirm your site loads with
https://. - If your browser warns about SSL, wait a few minutes and try again.
- If HTTPS still isn’t available, issue/enable SSL for the website inside Enhance (or contact GOZEN HOST support to validate AutoSSL on your service).
Avoid mixed content
If you start on HTTP and later switch to HTTPS, you may have mixed-content warnings. Starting on HTTPS keeps it clean.
Post-install checklist (recommended)¶
1) Update immediately¶
Inside WordPress: - Dashboard → Updates → update core, plugins, and themes.
2) Keep plugins lean¶
Every plugin is a trade-off. Fewer plugins usually means fewer performance and security issues.
3) Use the Enhance WordPress toolkit¶
Enhance includes a WordPress management toolkit, which can help you: - manage updates - manage plugins - manage multiple installs from one place
(Availability can depend on package settings.)
Common issues and fixes¶
The site shows the old page or doesn’t load¶
Most common cause: DNS is still propagating or the domain is not pointing to the correct server.
Fix: - Re-check DNS pointing: Point your domain to GOZEN HOST - Test in incognito/private window - Test from mobile data (different resolver)
“Install an app” is missing¶
Cause: installer disabled on your hosting package.
Fix: - Ask GOZEN HOST support to enable the software installer for your plan.
wp-admin login not working¶
Fix checklist: - Confirm you’re using the exact admin username you set during install - Use “Lost your password?” to reset - If needed, reset via database (advanced). We can document this in a separate article.
Why run WordPress on GOZEN HOST¶
You can keep your domain with any registrar and still host here, but consolidating services at GOZEN HOST simplifies operations: - fewer moving parts - faster troubleshooting - eligibility for periodic promotions (discounts or bundled perks when available)
Summary¶
- Enhance provides a built-in WordPress installer for fast deployment.
- Install on a new website (recommended) or install on an existing website via Apps.
- Start on HTTPS early.
- If the installer is missing, it likely needs to be enabled for your hosting package.
